When we first lit the company flame back in 1953, we had one clear aim: to bring modern home comforts to families throughout Iran. Introducing a range of convenient, clean and efficient gas cooking and heating products, we helped put an end to the use of dirty fuels like wood and coal, transforming family life across the region.

1981

Since that time the Butane Industrial Group’s ongoing commitment to innovation, quality and superior customer service has helped to raise Iranian living standards with each successive generation. Within a few decades we became the region’s first and largest manufacturer of gas burning appliances and LPG cylinders. We were the first company to introduce instant wall-hung water heaters to Iran in 1981, and the first manufacturer of combi-boilers, whose popularity has been growing rapidly ever since.

We continue to invest in our manufacturing base, the latest technology and our market leading, customer service network.

We are also committed to satisfying rigorous national and international quality standards, which has enabled us to expand our markets and become a major exporter of gas water heaters to Europe. Little wonder then that Butane’s customers have labelled the company as the “sure choice” for home heating.
